| Personal Statement
My life, as well as with most that I am familiar, has been influenced greatly by education. There are certainly many things that I could say have impacted my life in an incredible way and here we will focus on that reason which I am writing: education.
Having completed a particularly normal high school circulum, I proceeded to go to college at the University of Georgia Tech. Upon completing the requirements for a bachlor degree in the area of management, I obtained a position in sales for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I have since moved upward to the position of circulation sales supervisor. My limited experience has lead me to one conclusion at least; I enjoy sales and I am successful at it. Wanting to get as much treasure as possible in my chest, I applied to and was accepted into the MBA program at Georgia State. Which is where I am currently.
Now for the unknown. Where is it that I want my life to take me? I have hopes of one day, sooner rather than later, of obtaining a PhD. In what area I am not completely sure, however, I would enjoy the prospect of international trade. The reason for my selection is to help companies based in the United States to increase their exports to foreign nations, hence improving the trade imbalance. Or I could just obtain a good sales job.
I believe that things I need in life will fall into place for me, of course I belive in working for them. However, my true mission is being happy and following the Lord, both of which I am currently doing. |
